Series Overview

The Series feature in Faible allows you to connect multiple Faibles as sequels, creating an expansive and interactive storytelling experience. With the help of Faible's storytelling AI, you can build on your previous Adventures, creating seamless continuations that expand your creative world. Whether you’re a casual storyteller or an advanced story creator, Series helps you craft legends that evolve over time, turning your stories into immersive, multi-part journeys.

The latest update introduces powerful new tools and improvements:

  • Publish Your Series: Share your sequels with the Faible community to expand your audience.

  • Easier Series Management: Effortlessly find and edit your Series directly from your Faible Collection.

  • Edit Your Series: Ensure that everything in your sequel is to your liking—edit everything from the characters, world details, and artwork!

  • Preserve Prized Previous Series: Older Series are safely stored in your "Legacy Series" collection, ready to be enjoyed endlessly.

When to Use Series

Use the Series feature when:

  • You want to build a cohesive experience across multiple Faibles, creating a unified and immersive narrative.

  • You’re crafting extended storylines where each Faible and Adventure adds a new chapter to a larger narrative.

  • You have recurring characters or richly developed worlds that need to evolve across multiple sequels.

  • You want to expand your storytelling, letting readers follow characters and story arcs over a more extensive, interwoven adventure.

How to Use Series

Follow these steps to create a Series:

  1. Create a Faible or select one from your collection and begin an adventure.

  2. Reach the natural end of your story and choose NOT to go infinite.

  3. Choose the "Turn Into A Series" option.

  4. Enter any details to describe what you'd like to explore in your sequel and click Create Series.

    • Note: It’s not necessary to enter details from your previous adventure here. Faible will keep track of them automatically.

  5. You can wait at this screen to be taken to edit mode as soon as it’s available for your new Series or head back to the home screen, and Faible will notify you when it’s ready.

  6. Play or edit your Series!

  7. If you like how your Series turned out and want to share it with the rest of the Faible community, you can publish it:

    • Go to My Collection, select Faibles, click on the Series, tap the "Share" icon (between the pen and trash can), and follow the on-screen instructions.

Tips When Using Series

  • Plan Ahead: Use the Scroll of Fate to ensure key details from the first Adventure carry over seamlessly into your sequels.

  • Keep Continuity in Mind: Pay attention to character development and world-building to maintain consistency across all connected Faibles.

  • Edit Your Series: Ensure that everything in your sequel is to your liking—edit everything from the characters, world details, and artwork!
